Unravelling Travelling. Travel documents for beneficiaries of international protection. New AIDA briefing on travel documents

A new legal briefing published today examines the issuance of travel documents to beneficiaries of international protection. The briefing looks at the obligations arising from the 1951 Refugee Convention, the recast Qualification Directive and the proposed Qualification Regulation and how different European countries have implemented these. The briefing also looks at the recognition of travel documents issued by other countries and the transfer of responsibility for refugees.
